VISAS
for New Workers

workers to Spain. They arrived in late August and have recently rented a house
near their teammates. Pray for them as they adjust to a new country and
culture, and for their two boys as they begin school very shortly.Pray also for a speedy approval of their visa
applications.
PASTORAL TRANSITION
IN BARCELONA
Please continue to pray for our Alliance congregation in
Barcelona as they prepare to call a new pastor. Ask the Lord to guide the
church leadership during this time of transition. Pray also for healing and unity,
as the departure of the previous pastor has sown division in the church. Pray,
too, for Joel Martinez, who has
agreed to serve as interim pastor during this time of transition. He and Nancy continue to live in Granada, but
will make periodic visits to Barcelona each month.
CHINESE CHURCH
IN MADRID, Youth Ministry
John and Lorraine Young praise God for an excellent youth
camp held this past summer. Some 30 young persons participated. Pray also for
God’s blessing on Liliana, a Colombian
youth leader from the Latin American church with whom the Chinese share a rented
building. She has agreed to serve as a part-time youth director, since many of
the Chinese youth prefer Spanish over Mandarin.
