Ministry Specials

  • Muslim Outreach/Spain
This is a growing ministry to reach Muslims who are living in Spain for Christ. A growing team of 15 people are currently serving in this challenging and exciting project. Their names are not mentioned in our web page for security reasons.
  • Operation Sunflower: Church-Planting Granada
This is a church planting project started in 2001 in the city of Granada, southern Spain. Many Spaniards have come to faith in Christ through this project.  More recently a national pastor has assumed leadership of the work.

  • Bethany House Project
    (Ernie and Marilyn Klassen)
This project in Alicante focuses on raising up the next generation of workers through the Bethany School of Discipleship and Missions held each summer.  Several buildings were donated to the C&MA in 2015 and are being used for this project, as well as for retreats and conferences for pastors and churches. There is an ongoing need to upgrade and expand these facilities.  We see this as one of our most strategic initiatives in Spain!  It originated with and is being led by the National Church.

  • Spain Chinese Ministries
This project focuses specifically on evangelism and church planting among the Chinese immigrant population in Spain. One church has already been established in Madrid. Another new project seeks to plant a second congregation in Barcelona.

  • Tres Cantos Ministry Center
    (Tim and Marilyn Westergren)
This is an evangelism and church-planting project targeting the city of Tres Cantos (near Madrid). Tied in with a popular and wonderfully effective English Camp, this exciting project is seeing a new church planted in Tres Cantos.

  • Spanish Pastoral Development
    (Various families)
This project involves teaching, mentoring and training those with a call to ministry, including, but not limited to, training through our new seminary, INFORMA.
  • Cinderella's House Project
    (Betsy Blanchard)
This project will help to support a residency and healing center for women who are caught in human trafficking, providing a refuge and safe location to facilitate ongoing counseling and healing and freedom in Christ.
